Some very minor Admiralty requests

1) I loved the ship order before the last patch. The mirror ships were sorted by cruiser, sci, tac. The pilot escorts were grouped together, the command cruisers were grouped together, the dominion and cardie ships were grouped, etc. It was the SAME on EVERY toon! I could FIND my ships. I understand why this would be a problem for a company called Cryptic, but COME ON! Please unshuffle my ships!

2) Please, please, please put a filter in for the single use ships. They come in handy once a month or so - the rest of the time I'm just sick of scrolling through them to find the ship I actually want to use! I can understand worry that they will build up too far - if so, give me the *OPTION* to disable them completely, as I'd prefer it to what I have now.

I would maybe have phrased it differently, but subscribe on both counts. Though for me they were grouped slightly differently: (1) tier (2) type - eng, sci, tac (3) alphabetically

They scrambled the doff assignment lists the same way during some UI update years back, and never fixed it.

    Don't hold your breath.

It drives me nuts since I've used Admiralty since it was introduced and could quickly scroll down to where I knew a ship was in the list. The position of cross-faction ships were grouped together and the same for all captains. Now the set of 10% maintenance ships (Nandi, Kobali, Breen carrier) are positioned randomly and differently for everyone.

I could live with the scrambled order, but the fact that the order is different on every alt makes it tedious and time consuming to find ships to fill admiralty projects.

I agree. I have over 170 ships on my main, so am having to relearn the order.....but as you, every other alt has a slightly different order, so it's time consuming as hell!

I'd appreciate an autofill option, like Doffs.

The autofill in doffs picks what is *usually* the best possible choice for the mission. Your Hegh and Assimilated Assault cruiser would be the first choices every time! I think for doffing and admiralty both, I'd like to have some sort of learning. My first officer learns what I prefer to use where, and starts suggesting that for me in the future. Then again, I don't mind picking them myself - less complicated means less bugs.

While I did like the sort order I had, I agree that the most important part is making the order the same on every toon. More filtering options and the ability to order them myself (then save it and port it to other toons) would be amazing.

Please return the admiralty ships back to their previous order. The "new" way is no fun at all.

Thanks for fixing this issue :)

    Don't hold your breath.

May I ask what you mean by that? The doff assignments for me are completely alphabetical by name (within each category) and the same for every toon. Whether that's necessarily the best way to sort them can be disputed, but for me it's certainly not scrambled.

The lists of assignments in progress, completed and assignment log used to be in chronological order, with the least time remaining / most recently completed at the top. During one of the UI updates this was broken and they now appear, yes, in categorical/alphabetical order like they do in the source assignment lists, which is completely useless for listing things that you have running/already completed.

As is the order of Doffs when you want to pick one yourself. The 'green' (needed Specialty) choices used to be at the top. It is now at the bottom of the Doff list. Over two years like that.

Ah, okay, I thought you meant the assignment lists from which you pick. Never noticed that the others had a specific order 2 years ago.

This however is generally not the case for me, as I just checked. Higher quality, correct profession, and desirable traits are put at the top, "red" traits at the bottom.

In that case it's the traits themselves, in the filter list, that are in backwards. The ones relevant to the assignment (for better or worse) that you would want to filter for or against are at the bottom, usually requiring scrolling to even see them.
