T6 Dyson Science Destroyers?

Could we get a T6 update for these ships?

They were always my favorites.

I've kinda wanted them, but considering how unpopular they generally were...I unfortunately don't see them bothering.

If the discovery stuff wasn't happening they probably would've updated them next year since the last few years they were updating other T5 ships. However I hope they don't waste the games 10th anniversary on T6 Dyson Destroyers, I'd rather have some more new and original ships.

The dyson bunch was.... well.... problematic. Ship breaking bugs & glitches aside (and there were many over the years) they're pretty lackluster as sci ships, bad as escorts, weren't exactly well recieved (due to a still terrible introduction mission and the initial design choice of being unable to use faction hull materials) and sold pretty poorly.
Basically the only ones you saw around were the rom & kdf event versions because they had no c-store sci-ships and even then most wouldn't touch the store versions.
Also later they were highly outclassed by the vesta line and guess what got T6ed and multi-factioned already.
While I'd really like to see an even more creative T6 version of those designs I doubt they will ever look into that.

Would be awesome, particularly new Romulan versions. They are really my favorite Romulan design.

They were not lackluster science ships. They were just not better than the Vesta. Compared to the Tier 5 Long Range Science Vessel, Advanved Research Vessel, or the Varanus, they were arguably better. The gimmick was useless or broken, of course, but you could just ignore that feature.

These are what I'm waiting for right next to a T6 Nova refit. The designs are really cool, the transformation mode is completely unique and it's a science and destroyer ship in one as the ship mastery, number of weapons and innate power level boosts change.

Greatly boost proton damage, make the integrated proton cannon upgradeable, give proton tac consoles CritH like vulnerability locators, some good proton-related consoles and set bonuses, ship traits, updated skins, specialist seating such as miracle worker or temporal, and there's no reason whatsoever for them not to sell. I would buy them on my alt account as well.
