TRIBBLE MAINTENANCE AND RELEASE NOTES - 11/7/18

Tribble has been updated to ST.90.20181029a.8

General
  • Resolved and issue that would cause skills to become invalid once reaching tier 6 on any Reputation.
    • Players currently effected will be able to respec their invalid skills for free.
  • Resolved an issue in the Exchange that was causing the sort function to not work properly.
  • Resolved an issue that would sometimes cause enemies to not spawn in Task Force Operations.
  • Resolved an issue that was preventing Bridge Officers from beaming down to Adventure Battle zones.
  • Resolved an issue that would prevent player’s progression during the Discovery Era tutorial.
  • Resolved an issue that was preventing players from be able to search for Teams, Fleets, and individuals.
  • Resolved an issue where 360° weapons were unable to hit large targets on the opposite side of where they were equipped.
  • The cooldown timer for "Defense of Starbase One" has been changed to the standard 30 minutes.
  • The Walker-class Prototype Light Exploration Cruiser has been added to the TOS ship vendor.
  • Resolved an issue during the mission, “Blood of the Ancients”, where players could get stuck outside of the playable area.
  • Resolved an issue that would prevent Bridge Officer power FX to play for Discovery, TOS, and Dominion Captains.

Systems
  • Resolved an issue that caused Discovery characters to be unable to turn in the Delta Alliance Tier 5 Rewards.
  • DSC-era Klingons no longer have access to Isometric Charge and Positronic Warhead.
  • All Klingon Dreadnoughts have been downgraded from having access to Torpedo Spread 1 only
    • Instead of Spread 2.
  • Resolved various issues with the Discovery Security Escorts:
    • They will beam in and out with the right FX.
    • Use the correct weapons.
    • Wear era-appropriate uniforms.
  • Resolved an issue that prevented Fleet Support to spawn while playing as a Discovery or TOS era Captain.
  • Resolved an issue that prevented the Gamma Reputation Set weapon proc from applying.

    Some very good fixes here. Though the nerf to all Klingon dreadnoughts' description is very vaguely worded, could it be made more clearer?

    OH, you know I am on this tonight. LOL!
    I still have 3 characters on Tribble with Skill Trees in an invalid state. I will be testing that, too.

    EDIT: Characters with Skill Tree currently in an invalid state: NOT able to clear it after a Retrain/Respec.

    I removed all active Rank 1 Traits, just to make sure that was not the problem. I get the notification that respecs completed successfully. But Skill Tree remains invalid.

    Are "Retrain" button the same thing as a "Free Respec" or Respec Token?

    Anyhoo...when that Skill Invalid "Retrain" is up, the program does not allow me to access Respec Tokens. Maybe it just does a "respec" as part of the "Retrain"...whatever that is.

    Copied over a new character tonight and will run up one of her Rep to T6 and see what happens to those Rank 1 and Rank 2 traits and her skill tree.

    I don't understand that one either...which ship exactly is getting the nerf?

    I see "Installation 18" is listed under Franklin Drake and "Horace Jones" and "Law" is a mission giver for the Nimbus stuff in the Available tab....at least, on the Ferengi. That is Fed.

    I am going to strike this out because I have NO idea if the Ferengi even went to Nimbus at all.
    This may just be something she skipped so it is still there for her.

    "Cold War" the Breen Invasion stuff....still missing from Quinn's list on the Ferengi.

    And as long as I am looking at that list....there are 5-6 mission givers for New Romulus in Available tab. I am not sure what was missing....I took a picture:

    This is on Fed side, I have not been paying much attention to Fed's mission journal stuff....since I am more worried about my KDF characters.

    The NPC Klingon dreadnought is being nerfed, not your ship or its hangars.

    This problem is NOT RESOLVED. Tested on Delta Alliance Rep to T6...on Federation character.

    1.) Skill tree becomes invalid after completion of T6.

    2.) In Active Reputation: Rank 1 traits are NOT being automatically replaced by Rank 2 Traits upon completion of T6. The change from Rank 1 to Rank 2 only happens in the "Available Traits" half of the traits list.

    3.) On afflicted character a retrain does NOT clear the invalid skill tree.

    I am going to stop tonight, because previous tests show this happens on any of the Reputations, on any faction characters.

    Gotcha..."Systems" means NPCs.

    The workaround for this is to drag the icon of the new one over the old one.

    Are you having the trouble with your Skill tree going invalid when you get the Rank 2 traits?

    Could those of that were still experiencing Invalid Skills issues on Tribble please try again? This may have been caused by a server-side setting which we were able to change without downtime. Hoping that it allows the fix to go through as originally intended.

    OK...on my Fed Character....I placed all 9 Rank 1 Delta Rep Traits in "Active Traits" slots when I leveled her to T6 Delta Rep last night.

    Currently shows all Rank 1 Rep traits cleared from her Active Trait Slots.....which is correct.
    Currently shows all Rank 2 Rep traits in the Available Traits listing....which is correct.

    Something is still funky with the Skill Tree...maybe because her tree is completely empty right now....
    Let me try using the Skill points....duh.

    OK... Skill Tree no longer showing Invalid state. After filling the Skill Tree, was able to use a Repec Token, as normally.

    Though this program says I have zero Respec Tokens, and one free one???? When I know I have 7-8 of them I bought on Holodeck and no free ones. I guess, that is just something that does not cross over when I copy characters over.

    I will check one more character...I want to do one more character where I upgrade to T6 and make sure all the steps follow through like they should. That will take a bit of time.

    OK...on my KDF Character that I newly copied over to Tribble. I will be doing Delta Rep, again.
    I have selected all 9 Delta Rep Traits for the "Active Traits" slots. Also, starting with a full Skill Tree, no errors.

    (I use Delta and Gamma because those are unique colors and easy to find in the list...in case you were wondering)

    I am, also, cooking dinner...so it may be a bit later before I get this done. LOL!

    Devs....this is good to go. 5x5 :)

    KDF Character....newly filled from T5 to T6....claimed T6 Delta Rep.

    Skill Tree = OK.
    Rank 1 Traits in "Active Traits" slots = cleared from slots... OK.
    Rank 2 Traits = Check mark to place in "Active Trait" slots... OK.

    Get this out on Holodeck! If you have not already. LOL!
