I just FINALLY finished Shadow Play (I am level 13) on normal, with my Vulcan Disco Sci.
At level 13, a Sci is BLOODY weak.
And so, I used brains...
If only.
When I was in the large fight in the Romulus sector, I got insta-wasted about 80 times (I fly the Prototype Light Explorer Cruiser) with standard gear, but that should not be a problem at that level.
Even with standard gear I run 7 beams, with a set Phaser Damage Booster in purple giving 30% more damage, I should be able to do a tiny bit of damage, but nope...
Got three Neutr consoles, 2 purple one blue.
Awesome stuff, if it actually did something.
I get damage, while not giving any.
And so, I use the fleet there as my chess pieces.
Yeah sure, you wish...
I set focus on a ship, and not one NPC-ship actually listened.
Dies.
Respawn, set focus.
Ignored.
Dies.
Respawn.
Please fix this, so NPC ships actually OBEY a given command?
Since, been in that battle for 1 hour and almost 20 minutes.
That's slightly unfun, believe me...
Thank you.
Klingons don't get drunk.
They just get less sober.
Well, are your energy levels ser right??, i upgraded my beams, so i dont have those problems, also with a DSC char in the Prototype ship.. make sure you have the right powers.. and use the Power Dinamo console, that thing rocks! i just played that misión a few days ago.
I am thoroughly confused about this "Space Command : Set Focus", is this some new lock box trait or something that is supposed to make NPC ships follow your commands ? I've never heard of it and a Google search gives zero results.
Other than your own away team and your own pets NPCs do what the heck they want and you have absolutely no control over them, never have, likely never will...and even your away team and pets tend to do whatever the heck they want most of the time, with the away team being a lot better than pets. NPCs, nope, players have no control over NPC actions.
What it does is open a little persistent UI element that allows you to keep track of the selected mob while you're targeting other things. It's meant for tracking the health of protected objectives like Kobayashi Maru while you're fighting.
