Maybe, but I'm sure the OP might wish to know that he won't get a proper red of any kind that way, since he cannot actually see the wrongness.
Maybe, but im sure the OP might not get a "proper" red with your input either.
Personally, apart from combinations of just green and blue, I think the OP might not be getting a 'proper' of a lot of colors, as anything with red mixed into the RBG palette would look off.
Of the rods and cones, I also figured you're either missing the latter (so you can't see color), or you have everything. Shows how much I know. Apparently you can miss one color too. Red is at the end of the spectrum, though, so it might just be his cones are less sensitive somehow. Anyway, not really any of my business, but I was just wondering whether perhaps more colors will look off to him.
I’m happy to see that your personal recommendation of a red hair color corresponds so well with the initial help I gave to the OP:
While "red" in a broad sense can be described as taking up two entire rows on the color pallet, a solid color of red which IMO more accurately reflects the OP's request would only take up maybe 4-6 total boxes on a single line of the color pallet. Say T1 to T6 depending on the lighting.

When you see "TRIBBLE" in my posts, it's because I manually typed "TRIBBLE" and censored myself.
I use A6 for Kanril Eleya (my main, pictured as my forum avatar), which I think is a more natural color than what @peterconnorfirst recommended. It's probably just outside the range of realistic for humans and rubber-foreheads, though: if you're looking for something even more natural, "red" hair is usually more orange, so I would go with something towards the middle-left of the B row, like B4 for instance.

Well, since this thread seems to still be active....and I have Paint Shop Pro up on the desktop...I will go grab screenshots of my characters with red hair.
I will start with this picture of my Romulan...her hair color is A8 in the palette. In the Tailor there is 4 lighting selections...Default, Earth Space Dock, Qo'nos, New Romulus. SAME character, same color A8, just changed the lighting.
So, now you can see...why people in different factions prefer different colors. Right?
This is a Klingon BOFF named Soralli...her hair color is B4 in the palette. This is using the Default Lighting...because it takes too long to sort through 4 pictures.
This is an Orion BOFF named Neizu....her hair color is C21 in the palette. It is a light brown color...but it comes across as reddish on HER because of her skin tone.
This is my Orion Captain named Myra....her hair color is C4 and D17. She has one of the newer hair styles it allows use of 2 shades of color instead of one solid color. Again, brown in use, and a blonde...but because of her skin tone it comes across as reddish.
So, there is more to color choices for hair, besides a number on the palette.
I am sorry the OP can not see red and green....my Orions must look like hell.
