Getting Chimera Heavy Destroyer

Hi, I was just wondering, i've been trying to buy the Fleet Chimera Heavy Destroyer, i'm told i have the time in, the fleet i'm in is Tier 2 spire, and i'm a fleet admiral, I also have the required funds i need to purchase the ship, but when i go to select it, it won't let me buy, am i not at the right level? if it's reputation i'm also tier 2 for the spire, any help would be appreciated

The Chimera, like the Manticore is only available to those with a Lifetime Subscription. If you do not have a lifetime subscription or the appropriate number of days as a veteran (old system) then you will not be able to purchase that ship.

They have the lotus weapon but it's rather gimmicky, underpowered and if you don't stick to the faction type (pha/dis/pla) it's a waste of a console slot.
While it has since been far outclassed by many other ships, at the time of release it was one of the better ships in the game (just an opinion). subtracting the cost of a really good T5 ship, an upgrade token to get it to T5U and a really good T6 ship makes (made) the cost of buying LTS not seem quite so bad. And of course, for some people, the quality of the ship didn't matter, it was the in your face status symbol that only lifers could get that made it desirable.
At the time I got mine, I only had a few mirror T5Us I had gotten off the exchange and no T6s yet and I absolutely loved it. Now it sits unused and forgotten, it's glory days long gone.
