Can't make a disco charactor

Ok am I missing something or can no one make a disco charactor on tribble yet, even though it has the option should as a graphic, you go to create charactor and there no disco char option....

    I wanna make the char, guess it will be on there soon.

    Well I would assume they would allow some testing as to make sure the missions for them are in order...would imagine they should be released maybe tomorrow?

    with less then a week before the launch of star trek online new expansion we still can not create the disco character

    Without knowing what is Cryptic's plan, we don't know why you can't make AoD characters yet.

    There may be issues with activating the AoD faction.

    If there are issues with activating AoD toons, when AoD is due to release in less than a week, I'd say we're in for one hell of a buggy surprise.

    Less then five days to go before the launch of Aod. still can not make an Aod character.

    4 days to go and still no testing available. Come on Cryptic, at least give us a reason why....There community communication is shocking.

    About 4 days til it releases on the Live server i would have to guess it will release on Tribble at same time, or with the next patch to tribble.

    They aren't releasing AoD to Tribble, this was said in this week's Livestream. I can agree to some point as it's avoiding spoilers. Automatically assuming it's going to be 'buggy as hell' is a pretty bad lack of faith. They can have a flawless bug-free showing on Tribble, just for bugs to crop up on Holodeck. Tribble and Holodeck code is not 100% identical.

    Spoilers....They release all over new content on Tribble which would spoil it, thats a crappy excuse really lol

    Shame...I guess I will need to wait a week or two after launch...I was debating about making some AoY characters but held back after the announcement to see if they get new stuff or if it will be just like AoD where all their abilities are the same like the 25th century Feds.

    But they generally don't release new episodes on Tribble, except for an actual expansion, which this is not. Even with actual expansions, they don't usually release all of the episodes, at least not with the last 2 expansions, These will be like Featured Episodes, which don't get a Tribble release until they've already gone to Holodeck. The only bit of content exclusive to AoD characters will be the tutorial, everything else will be available to all.
    This is an MMO, not a Star Trek episode simulator. That would make for a terrible game.
