Klingon Federation Join Teams after Surface Tension

I love my Klingon and have dropped my Federation and Romulan Charter, since I started him. I have one major problem though.
After The Episode:Surface Tension

At the Conclusion of this mission, with hostilities ending between the Klingon Empire and the Federation, I feel that we should gain the ability to team up with a player on the other faction

I don't want anything major, i just want to be able to play on a team with my Friends who only play Federation.
