Pls rank these T6 Cross Faction ship packs

tigerariestigeraries Member Posts: 3,492 Arc User
Need to prioritize which packs I should buy... realize that now Roms can use Fed/KDF ships so dont really need to buy a 3 pack... but it's the same price as if I buy 2 ships anyway.

Cruiser bundle with Andromeda etc. - Ship trait: Explosive Polarity Shift
Dreadnought bundle with Yamato etc. - Ship trait: Subsystem Redundancies
Heavy Escort Carrier with Alita etc. - Ship trait: Coordinated Assault
Advanced Light Cruiser with Reliant etc. - Ship trait: Evasion Specialist
Allied Escort Bundle with Caitian Shikaris etc - Ship trait: Hit and Run
Flight-Deck Assault Cruisers with Tellarite Pralim etc. - Ship trait: Majority - Minority

Right now at 30% off, they are 4,200 Zen each.

"Heavy Escort Carrier with Alita etc. - Ship trait: Coordinated Assault" if you're into carriers, the trait from this pack sounds nice. It occasionally makes it to my 'want' list, but I can never quite justify it just for the trait.

    Space Barbie Tier:
"Cruiser bundle with Andromeda etc. - Ship trait: Explosive Polarity Shift"
"Dreadnought bundle with Yamato etc. - Ship trait: Subsystem Redundancies"
I would only get these if you want the looks. I've got the Iconic pack (your 'Cruiser bundle') and only bring out any of the three if I want a TNG canon ship (usually D'Deridex or Galaxy full canon looks). Both of these are mostly cruisers in the viable-but-not-anything-more class, with the exception of the Kolasi KDF side in the second pack, which is an odd destroyer class.

The others listed are solid, but not stand-out IMO. Buy them for looks mainly.

Other suggestions: Battlecruiser pack (Arbiter/Kurak/Morrigu) pretty much the meta Trait for energy builds, and solid ships to boot.

Cardassian pack: Four total ships for the price of two, and those four are available to all your chars instead of the one ship each of the other ships. T5-U Galor, and three full-Intel T6 ships of various classes, each of those three with a console that can be used on any ship. Each of the three has Readiness to passively cooldown a set of standard BOff abilities (Tac, Eng, Sci), and an entertaining clicky.

Hopefully this helps somewhat in three-and-a-half hours left of this sale.

The advanced light cruiser set is one of the best sets I picked up. :)

+1 for the Advanced Light Cruiser pack. They look neat (reliant has lots of parts), solid stats and can abuse the hell out of "Cold Hearted" >:) .

If you don't already have it then go for the Battlecruiser pack, as tom61sto said that's THE trait for energy weapon builds. Also the ships (arbiter/kurak/morrigu) are some real powerhouses.

And the Klingon ship is pretty nice, handles well, and is original design, but still looks Klingon.

Romulan aint bad too, does not look like a bird much.

Also, the fleet miranda unlocks Soyuz parts. :)

    @seriousdave

As someone who does not own that pack, why can it abuse the cold hearted trait?
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

The advanced light cruisers got a pretty sweet layout, cmdr.eng, ltc.tac, ltc.universal/pilot seat.
Lets you easily get an 100% uptime on it.

    Like that.

Well it's all theory crafting for me at the moment since i haven't had too much playtime and dilithium grind time lately so not enough zen in the kitty for a purchase.

Cross faction multi mission pack is still higher up on the list for me, but that is also to compensate for the KDF and Rom weakness in the science ship area.

Thanks, those 6 are the only T6 packs I am missing. Can't really get myself to buy any T5 or lower ships/packs.
