T6 Escort for returning player

Hello, i am going to join federation fleet after some time and i am looking for some tips.

I have some resources so i am planing to buy new ship.

My top 3 are

1) heavy escort carrier t6
2) andorian Thozyn
3) andorian Kumari (if i understand i can upgrade it to T5-U comparable to T6)


Any capitan here to give me advice for those ships in current build? Stong and weak sides for each? Thx for answers

Well, i was thinking about: take wing platforms from kumari and use them on Thozyn. But to be honest i missed a lot. I played most before romulan faction. And i have 0 expirience with pilots ships(some cool mooving what i did see) but also 0 expirience with carriers. Both options seems cool, pilot is probably more action but wing of fighters seems to be also cool.

I am aiming for PvE and coop PvE aspects. So no need for PvP advices.

My captain is Joined Trill but i have soft spot for Andorian ship style.

if your doing that your better off just getting the whole t-6 fed Andorian pilot pack it only be 500 zen more but you get an extra ship and the t-6 set does have a wing platform though it's torpedo not cannon, it is better in most cases sincee though consoles are better simple cause they have a normal console boost in addition to the clicky ability and in this case part of a set which means you also can get set bonuses.

as far hanger vs pilot. pilot maneuvers are rather personal skill so your bad at careful, rapid, and sudden timing your not gonna be able to get the most out of it. hanger pets are more build based as long as you have the skills/trait in your build... and they don't bug out, they'll work at more or less top form.

though as I said before just about anything can be made to work so if you really want to do something do it and you can figure out the rest later.

first bit of build advice if a ship as a t-6 version don't buy the t-5 version. in less you want the console or ship parts, your better off just going to t-6. moreso on a ship thats already fleet tier.

secord when asking for help be very detailed in what you want, it helps peple tell you what advice is useful. if you what to use phasers an amazing ap build isn't very helpful.

from what you have listed I gonna say it's a choice between if you want a hanger or pilot maneuvers ether is useful and can be fun.

if your captian is andorian getting andorian ship could be better for space barbie. and the heavy escort trait is really only good if you like carriers. keep in mind just about anything can work in sto.
