Is there a way to make dead bodies?

I'm working on my second story, and am stuck trying to figure out if there's a way to create dead bodies when you come across a ship that you board?

Set an idle animation for NPCs.

Step 1: place an NPC contact
step 2: select contact in list of assets on the map
    3: click advanced behavior tab
4: set behavior to "Legacy Contact"
    5: set idle animation

Lie flat - front doesn't actually make them lie face-down, but it does make them lie motionless.

The instructions I was given make it good enough, so I'll go with that. Managed to finish my first draft of Bob From Accounting Episode 2. Cleaned up and published Episode 1 after your very helpful comments.

Yeah, when you play Hearts and Minds, the body on the table is still alive lol.
"alive" as in animate and moving about or alive as in "breathing but otherwise motionless" since if it's the first you probably hit the mob in question turning its combat AI active which is generally pretty simple to avoid(don't have combat while there's a dead body in the room" as for the second that's because there's no "dead motionless corpse" animation best we got "lie flat" which is good enough for most cases.

Also if the breathing is major tripping point just say the dead is "practically dead" as in (s)he's still technically alive but nothing short of divine intervention is gonna stop them becoming dead soon.

dont some motor functions linger after death for a bit?

I think so but you'd have to ask a biologist about that I'm an engineer (well technically engineering student).

Still with the foundry the key most of the time is to find something that's "good enough" for the purpose rather then "absolutely perfect" since we lack quite a few tools Cryptic uses to craft the official missions.
