how does one hide one self from the mini map and large map???

    There is a setting in your friends window where you can set yourself so only friends can see you. Not sure if you can make yourself invisible from everyone.
    Now a LTS and loving it.
    Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
    I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything. :D

    Type /hide into chat makes you anonymous. /unhide reverses this. You won't be able to accept team invites. This will make you "less visible" to others in-game. Only a cloaking device will make you completely invisible. Although I did meet a fellow who made an alien character so small that when he laid down on the ground he'd disappear, so that may be another option, or it may have just been a graphics glitch.
