Three minute cool down on security escorts makes game unplayable for tac

They beam out after 30 seconds, they disappear and leave you waiting for 3 mins after being killed. will no one fix this?

    A lot of cool downs on Captains powers really need to be re-looked at. They might have been about right when first implemented but at this point, to me, they cool down so slowly they almost might as well not exist.

    Eh, yeah, the Captain's Powers are being outclassed by the Specializations and lockbox Traits and Consoles, now.
    They are giving away "the baby with the bath water" these days.

    Actually lowering the cooldown of captain powers would mean that they'd also have to nerf them.

    I agree that escorts and fabrications shouldn't die out as the player dies. < This is the actual issue>

    I understand that the disvrepancy between usage/cooldown is too long and annoying. But if the game is "unplayable" because you lack two trash mobs by your side you are doing something wrong.

    I tend to forget I even have it and I tend toward random terrible builds based on rather old out of date gear.

    The long cooldown on pets makes my "Horta beast master" build non-viable. Will no one fix this?

    I think they sell a Duty officer at fleet embassy that reduces cooldown time on pets.

    Idk, i feel like somehow my Escort is faster to recharge than that.

    Maybe you are using a DOFF or a power that reduces the cooldown of the Escort ability.

    summoned pets should stay with character until dead... cool downs starts when pet dies. or if out of red alert for 30 secs... they despawn and cool down starts. make it so pets can not be healed.

    The should lower the recharge on orbital strike while they're at it :p
