how are the Advanced Yukawa frigates working?

just wondering if its worth getting the advanced versions as of yet. Are they functioning as intended? are they worth spending the dilithium on.

Since the Yukuwas are locked to a particilar ship type I wonder if they ever come out with Hideki pets will they simularly be not locked to a particular ship.

Actually they're not, locked to a ship type at all. I don't know if thats working as intended, but I was able to take the new frigates off the Cardassian intel ship, and use them on my Jem heavy escort carrier. Bought the elite ones from my fleet base too, and used those just the same.

They're not bad, little slow compared to the fighters I was using, but pretty beefy little suckers and I didn't notice any problems with them performing.

thanks alot thats awesome to know. thanks for the feedback. Perhaps those slower beefy pets will be good for endgame stuff. On my main i got lucky and got a bug, so jhas pets for him, all the other ones though looks like ill be taking the elite yukawas for a spin!

As long as they can keep the Dual Beam Banks on Target that is awesome, thank you.

I'm honestly not very impressed with them. From my limited testing, the normal versions do almost the same damage as the elites simply cause they have beam arrays instead of the dual beam banks. I'm thinking of trying out the advanced version, they keep 2 beam arrays up front with 1 DBB and gain the omni rear beam array.

The elites really need to be a lot more maneuverable to make use of that firepower. Overall they have been doing less than half the DPS of my Elite Jem'Hadar Fighters.

I tried out the Elite Version on a 2 hanger shipt and they have rather low damage. Even the lowest To'Duj fighter from the other hangar was higher, with the best To'Duj doing about 60% more damage. It's just another Frigate. The armament sounds impressive but simply isn't.
