Help identifying in combat FX / graphic please

Could someone help me identify what the FX / graphic is showing up around my ship in the pic attached?
Only shows up in combat and I cant figure out what they are!

    Pilot Spec ability "Turn the Other Cheek", it reduces damage to opposite shield facings and shows up as those 3 curves on the shield facing so affected.
