Politics in game chat

Can we PLEASE NEVER talk real world politics while on STO?? It is hard enough getting razed in the real world I don't want to have to go thru it on STO!!!

It is the problem of zone chat. Talk about religion and politics can be dealt with on the forums, but not in the game. Only method is to remove zone chat from your chat window so only the channels you choose and your fleet is available.

Technically, discussion of real-world politics or religion in Chat is a ToS violation; however, as Cryptic can't afford to employ full-time GMs to monitor the chat, all you can do is ignore it. (And, of course, Ignore it - that is, if someone's particularly annoying about it, highlight their name in the Chat window and click on Ignore. You never hear from them again.)
