Victory is Life Frigates question

Thanks to the recent Phoenix Lockbox event I have a UR token that I'm going to use on my Jem'Hadar Character to give him the ship and the possibility of getting the JHAS frigates for the T6 JHDC I have for the same character. So I know I will have the JHAS Frigates for that character and for the JHDC.

My question is will I be able to use the JHAS frigates instead of the Gunboat frigates on the Vanguard Ships ( The carrier and the Dreadnought Cruiser). Thanks for any and all help.

According to what they said in the Vanguard ships Livestream, yes. Just need a JHDC (the included one in the Vanguard pack will work) and a non-starter JHAS (I.E. the freebie Jem chars get won't work) and you're golden.
