why this was deleted to start with is beyond me but how about reducing the number of events we get each month how about every other month or something we get a break from having to see them or having them in game even if we skip them it really takes away from the other ques and is a distraction as i said before and gets to be to much especially the useless red alerts we get next to nothing for them except a few mission points and hardly any rep/fleet marks at all for doing them so why we have to do them ? i get you devs need to keep players active and spending and what not to keep game going to but instead of that how about you offer more stuff on the cstore or something worth buying or even more lockboxes to entice players already active to spend more instead of trying to sell the game to players who are on the fence about the game to being with or the newer players . their is always a solution to every problem if people try really hard can solve . anyways reducing them like a month off or even half a month off would be great so players can and will get back to actually wanting to focus on grinding out marks they need or have to get .
i also think another way of looking at this would be by them reducing number of events held each month would also cut down on the many many bugs we see from these events as well and taking away of resources and time needed to fix whats already in the game and needs fixing and would free up devs but then again its only a suggestion and unlikely to happen
The pacing between the grind-events isn't perfect but still decent. What would give us some excitement is to keep the bonus weekends running. Marks, XP, crafting, uprgade, etc. and why not even more different kinds like doff commendation xp and admiralty campain xp too. Special weekends for everything that can cycled through the whole year.
If you think there are too many events, just don't do them, problem solved. I regularly skip events. I do not feel the need to own absolutely everything in the game so if an event reward is not something I think I would actually use, I don't bother with the event.
Not everyone thinks there are too many events, a lot of players want more events. You want a solution that will impact everyone, including severely cutting down the enjoyment of all those that want more events, not less. Just because there is an event happening does not mean that a player has to run that event, so the current number of events, or even an increase in events would not degrade the game for anyone...except for those who for some reason just can't not do an event, but some peoples inability to just say no is no reason to hamper everyone else.
I personally would like to see events running 24/7, as long as they aren't more danged grind-fest/unique reward events. The endeavor system is kind of a good sample. No grinding as such required and quite decent rewards, without having the "unique" rewards that means that if you don't do it, you have forever lost out on that item. As ruin mentioned them, bring back hourly stuff, doesn't have to be a major event, or major rewards, but it provides something a little different to do and might even get people to play a bit more. Hell, bring back the old Red Alert system, but with a number of different scenarios. Instead of a constant Red Alert banner which is actually just another cued STF, at various times a Red Alert pops up, and it might be anything Borg, Tholian, Na;kul, Hur'q, Terran, you name it. You are all geared up and fighting the Hurq, a Red Alert comes up and bingo, you jump into a furball with the Borg, but you are all geared up for the Hurq. Fun times.
NO. The number of events should be increased, not reduced, We have too much dead air on the calendar already. Although I agree that Event Fatigue can definitely be a thing, not every event on the charts needs to be a mandogrind. Back in the Good Old Days, when we had the Hourlies, there was always SOMETHING happening. Now we can often get entire weeks or even months of completely dead air with nothing to do.
you must be a PC player because i have played this game on ps4 since launch on consoles and i have never except maybe twice seen a empty calendar other than that we have them every month like clock work but if you and anyone else who disagrees with my opinion can go stuff themselves its my opinion not a fact and opinions are like a holes everyone has one only reason for doing them for me as i have stated before else where is i have nothing left in this game except true end game and even then i have all the ships i need and gear i need i have done 90% of what the game has to offer only reason to continue to do the events are because of the dilithium ore it gives out for the big month long events and all the marks are just for fleet everything i do on my main character is for my fleet and fleet alone after which their is no point to continue to do anything else on repeat and whole purpose to do them on alternate characters is again for the dil ore you get with each one varies but still enough to endear it on all characters to better my alts to go yet again bring them up to par with my main and simi main characters to go better ques instead of on normal on advanced or elite . and might i add you take your own advice if you get that bored go play something else their is other stuff to do unless your like me and have done it all before and once done with alts will go back to grind out for the fleet stuff only .
otherwise i would skip these events but when it comes to ore and having loads of it without having to sit outside of the mines waiting on cooldowns and such to go farm for chump change in ore at the mines id rather do it the easier way and do the events to get enough for a few weeks until i get more with admiralty and rinse ,repeat ,lather and so on until next event . but don't worry the month of june is filled full of events to do and im sure July will as well as either July or August is when we all get the summer event so not to worry on reducing events if anything probably will be a win for you and everyone else who loves to do the events so much will probably get more not less so only one to suffer here is players like me not you fresh faces thats been around a few months to a year tops thats why they do these events everyone like me that has finished up the game almost entirely depending on your side of things has either left the game for something else entirely or only come back on to the game for the events to only leave again to never be heard from again until next event or not all . but again im a rare player that sticks to a game until their completely sick of it and burnt out on it and never plays it again . but then again i not the type of player they are after with these events im a hardcore player not a casual like most players who play this game and im proud of that fact.

again opinions are like a holes everyone has one and i was stating mine as you are stating yours even saying this is a waste of space because regardless of what you or i want the devs nor the publishers are going to do frak all about the events if anything they probably add more so would be a win for you but like you and everyone else wanting more clearly don't play this game on a exclusive basis and are just the casual player wanting it to be more fun and stuff well im the odd ball and unlike everyone else i know how to play the game and have run out of fun but believe me (fact) one you see the same event roll around like 3 maybe 4 times a year you get sick of doing them and be like me but don't take my word for it play the game for next year or or 3 and come back and see if you are enjoying these events as you say like . and the red alerts you talk off are pointless as i have said before as its not worth the rewards would be more fun if they were but they are not sadly and they are worthless again my opinion on the matter .
