Err....perhaps you missed the new expansion that's on it's way in June? And check the foundry, go investigate EVERY planet, every nook and crany et all.

I agree. While the foundry does include a lot of content, it is not considered to be "official" unless it is adopted by the game. That isn't to say that the foundry missions aren't fun, they are, but a little more effort on the official story would be appreciated. The Gamma expansion will cure a lot of the calls for new material, but eventually those calls will return. I suggest branching story arcs of a few episodes every quarter, similar to the events in Yesterday's War. Another idea would be incursions into the Mirror Universe for intelligence and operations against that foe. Just my .02.

Except, and I don't mean to sound insulting, this topic is discussed frequently and there is a massive wedge of content coming, and saying the Dev's need to put in more effort, despite ALL they are doing, is pretty insulting to them. The game has been going 8 years, has 100's of hours of stuff to do (including over 160 episodes), and people think the game 'lacks content'!? This game has more content than the vast majority of $80 AAA games!

STO has certain types of content, episodes for example, but the repeatable content like queue based stuff tends to fall flat pretty quickly once the time reward maths is done and folk decide it's not worth it.

And the other repeatable stuff is the BZ's which either get pretty bland quickly or like the kethi one release in such a state noone want to go near them. I mean even adding a simply kill list into a BZ might make it a little bit more interesting even if it doesn't change the loop.

Downside is that to get a more interesting system they'd have to take another look at how they handle gaining reps so that you have more hands on involvement that simply getting the 750 or 1500 marks (think thats the numbers) and ignoring it as most will have done with the pvevp and lukari since they're both tied into ghosttown activities. Making a change like that would require them to do some work rewriting the systems and maybe also walking into the neverwinter office for taking notes on how an endgame rep system could be done better.

    Foundry.

Or go play something else for the next few weeks until Victory is Life is released.

No online game can produce new content faster than players can consume it, not even WoW or Overwatch. Whether or not you can accept reality it still accepts you.

This will always be an issue with MMO style games.

Players play for a while, they burn through the games content and then feel like the game lacks content. I am not saying anything against the OP, I have frequently found myself in the exact same boat. Sometimes I log into STO and I can't help but feel like I have done everything there is to do and done it more times then I can count.

The truth is, this game has a massive amount of content, but eventually.. you're going to go through it all. Once you have done all the stories, you hit that wall where you are just waiting for more. Problem is, it takes months to make one episode that you might burn through in 10-20 minutes. Then you're sitting there saying 'where is the next one?' but they can't churn them out as quickly as you can play them.

This problem is not unique to STO by any means, it's happened in every MMO I have ever played. In single player games, you get through everything and you're 'done.' You either start a new game or you move on to something else. MMO's are a different animal, they're designed for you to continuously play and never 'beat it.' Eventually though you're going to out pace the new content, it happens.. but sadly it's just part of the MMO structure.

STO has a massive amount of content, best solution is either the Foundry as some have suggested, starting a new character, or maybe getting together with a good fleet and doing some queued runs and building up resources for upgrades.
