Questions on using Allied T5 and T6 ships on Romulans.

Can you claim the Event Dyson Science Destroyer of the allied faction on a Rom? 2x cards with Ignore '+/- Sci' would be rather nice.

Can Fed Allied Roms use the consoles from the T5 Vesta Multi-Mission Explorers on the T6 Romulan Multi-Mission Explorers?

Any weirdness in using Allied console sets? What works and what doesn't? As an example, can you fit the console from a T6 Galaxy on a D'Deridex, since the console is equivalent (though part of different set bonuses)?

I can't test myself, so a bit curious as to how this all works.

Edit: I realized after posting that this thread, that a lot of this isn't user testable at this point, since there's no way to get Zen on Tribble to grab stuff off of the C-Store.

To expand on what should be testable, since Fleet stores are at least a possbility: Reversing the example, can you fit the T6 D'Deridex console on a Fleet Galaxy or Fleet Negh'var?

1. Probably not. There's 1 DSD box in the reclaim store (& lobi store) and it gives the faction appropriate ship, so I fear we can't double dip there.

Edit: Just realized something. On what we (probably) can double dip is pretty much every 3 or 9 pack.
As far as it stands now roms will be able to get 2 sets of c-store-DSDs, flagships, command cruisers, T6 multi mssion explorers, miracle worker cruisers, 4 sets of pilot escorts and pretty much 2 ships from all the 3-pack deals.
Might replace the majority of my feds & klingons with roms soon.

2. Hard to tell. Depends on how strict the console restrictions are. As far as I know the description just says "Multi-Mission Explorer" so it looks good so far. Also even if they intend to do it that way it might be bugged at launch . The consoles might not recognize the warbirds as proper Multi-Mission Explorers and TRIBBLE that up till they're fixed. Wouldn't be the first time something like that happens.

3. Probably not. Most T5 & T6 consoles have very strict restrictions on that matter. Like the T6 gal console is restricted to Explorations Cruisers and FED Dreadnought Crusiers (basically gal variants) so that will probably just stay that way across the board.

If it’s available on Tribble I’ll have to check it out I’ve no been to ship claim yet so am no sure if it’s live on Tribble yet. Anyone know?

Was worth a shot. Admiralty Master Race would've been even more OP if you could claim 2x of those cards.

I'm hoping and expecting the 3 or 9 pack ships will be double-dippable. I don't own any of the full 9 packs, but do own some of the ships from them. I'm hoping to claim the Ty'Gokor on my Sci KDF-Rom, as that ship's trait is handy for Sci chars, but I'm not buying another $30 ship for it Rom side.

It's an interesting possibility. I'd consider rolling a Sci Fed-Rom and grab one of the Vulcan-Romulan T6 Vestas if I could use the Phaser death beam.

After the Temporal Lockbox ship console being made usable on any ship, I'm wondering if they might be planning more restrictions being removed, though if they're still listing only those ships on Tribble it probably isn't coming with ViL. Also, I had forgotten that some of the T5 consoles that got put in Lockboxes are part of sets, but don't complete the equivalent sets (I.E. adding the D'Deridex Singularity thrower to a Galaxy doesn't add to the set bonus of either of the sets, despite the T6 Galaxy and T6 D'Deridex consoles having the same apparent name).
