Why is the skins for the t3 ( type 1, type 2, etc etc) cost 3,000 zen? Anyone have any answers? thanks in advance

If a hull material costs 3,000 Zen, it usually means you have to buy the T6 version to unlock it.

To expand on what Tyler said, any time you see that a visual costs zen, it means that that using that particular visual is tied to owning a specific ship. The visual in question could be a hull material, hull section like nacelles, saucer, etc.
