i don't like the new auto attack ps4/x1

haven't played in a while. started playing again since I was hyped for the new expansion and I don't like the new auto attack. I can tolerate it but I feel like I lost some control of my ship and I feel like i'm fighting with the controls in space combat witch makes space combat less fun for me. I want the option to switch it off like you can on pc

    If you mean PC, you can right click each weapon on the the weapons display to turn it off, but you have to do this when you switch ships. Consoles, to stop firing, move the crosshairs away from the target and downclick the right stick.

    Are you doing that mission: Renegade's Regret?
    If you are, the Devs programmed the ship, and they locked out player's option, hence, players are unable to change anything......can't even re-arrange the space tray....on the Shuk-din while you are flying it.


    IF you are having issues on a new Delta Recruit character...

    To change the way AUTO FIRE behaves on the PC go into Options, Control menu tab.
    Switch from "Maintain While Button is Pressed" to anything other than that. I am using "Toggle, Target Change Cancels". Some players disable auto attack all together.

    There are several "TARGETING" options in this menu that will change how your ship fires its weapons. I am still toggling between them to see which works the best for me. I took a picture....this is for the PC. Look for similar setting in your system's Options menu....if you are on PS4 or XBox.

    I had to shut that off last night. It was messing up my firing sequences. I wish they would have defaulted with that turned off on all characters and only presented it as an option.
    Green people don't have to be.... little.

    ps4 and xbox 1 don't have the auto attack option. hope they add it before the new expansion is out because it would fix the one thing i don't like about the game at the moment
