What the heck does PROC mean?! searched for an answer but havent got one..Can some one kindly sum it up for me? TIA!!!

    Answer ✓
    "[Proc]" is new modifier included to make weapons or other gear without the proper number of modifiers to help be compatible with Re-Engineering (though not all are yet, even with that modifier being present). 'Proc' refers 'procedural call' to do a function, like with Disruptor weapons having a chance to reduce a target's damage resistance, or Plasma which creates a burn on the target, that happens server-side. Some weapons combine two procs, like Romulan Plasma having both Disruptor and Plasma procs, which they subtracted one modifier from the weapon to make up for it. The new Re-Engineering function requires a certain number of modifiers to work correctly, so [proc] was added to fill in the gaps.

    yes, it is. just saying that going up to mk xv won't get us another modifier
