Here's a close look at 4" patrol escort (fingers for scale and resolution reference). It arrived yesterday (with the original estimate being mid-September.)
Summary of opinion: it's great.
The material is quite flexible which should help it withstand the rigors of light handling. And while blurry up close, the colored detail of the ship is higher than expected. The name/registry is close to being legible and yet there's fine coloring of hull material detail and windows. The physical detailing is also very crisp, hard edges well defined.
I'm already considering what my next print will be, highly recommended.

Interesting. So the full color 3D printed models made available in June are being delivered before the orders placed in March. The delay in filling the March orders then is most likely being caused by the hand painting process. Hand painting starships--what with all their windows, escape pods, and hull markings--is probably taking much longer and much more tedious than the humanoid character figures that Gameprint/Mixed Dimensions is accustomed to painting. So they probably grossly underestimated the painting time and are now having to push back the due dates repeatedly.
After only 4 months, 19 weeks, 134 days, it's here. It's real!
I'm impressed with the level of detail at the 4'' size. More and more tempting.
A word of caution, on reddit someone posted a picture of a refit constitution class and there was some sagging with the pylons and nacelles (the pylons narrow as they connect to the hull and nacelles they're supporting are set at an angle to that point.) The material has some flexibility to it and that is noticeable with thin parts. My escort doesn't have any issues (pylons are holding just fine, angle is perfect and holding) but it's still worth considering physics when selecting a 4" ship (the less robust the ship, the riskier it may be to print at a small scale.)

After a somewhat lengthy delay my painted 12 inch model is currently somewhere in Warsaw on it's way to me down here in Australia.
Here's hoping I don't end up posting pics of it on reddit next to pics of broken monitors...

When did you order yours? I ordered mine on the 17th March and they have not even BEGUN painting yet.
Not getting answers from customer support either.

I bought mine on the 17th as well. They began printing it on the 7th of April.
I was on the verge of contacting them myself when I got the email saying they'd completed it.
Looks like it's just taking them more time than they expected. I'm guessing they got a lot more orders than they usually handle.
Customer Support were going to check with the Studio and I was told to expect an update tomorrow. That that will almost be 2 days, not tomorrow.. The the morning after, due to huge time zones. Blergh.

Hold up - they're accustomed to doing humanoid models?
Hey, Cryptic, there's another moneymaker for you - find a way to make the 3D exporting software work with the characters in Champions Online! I may be chronically broke, but I'd find a way to buy figurines of Happifun Security System X-4, Hypernova, and/or Captain Mercaptan...

Painting goes in multiple stages. it's still in the first stage and on the queue for the next stage but we will start very soon on it. I requested some images and behind the scenes.I will send the images very soon so expect to hear from me."

Jesus H Christ. You ordered your ship in March and they're still working on it in July? Good lord. Also, people who have ordered their ships more RECENTLY after they started offering the smaller versions have already got them. WTF is going on over there?

The newer models from what I understand.. Are printed, and the colors and markings and what-not are printed onto the ship in the process.. Kinda like how you just print text on paper.
But mine is hand painted... Which they seem to be having serious issues with.

I ordered my 4inch right when they went on sale and mine wont be printed until mid September.
And the response from customer support is dead quiet again, even though they promised to get back to me with a more detailed update... *sigh*
I ordered the ship on March 17, 2018.. And they've barely begun the paint work, it takes forever to get a reply to the emails I've sent to customer support.. If you actually do get a reply, the English skills in the emails are also.. Sometimes questionable..
At this point if I ever get the model, the quality better blow me away.
I've been waiting 3 months and 23 days. I am leaning towards just demanding a refund soon at this point.

I believe somebody said in another thread their production facility is in Poland (based on the return address on the packaging), and from what I've been able to find researching them on the Internet they're pretty new: the Gameprint thing seems to be their first really big deal. That could easily account for some of the issues with CS: they bit off more than they could chew and are having trouble keeping up with just about everything related to STO.

Primer is done. Now it needs to sit for a while before more paint layers can be added.
It's taking several months more than expected, but the U.S.S. Alaska is coming to life.. Slowly.
Fun fact, on the Galaxy Class model in STO the shuttlebay and cargo bay door on the stardrive section has a bugged texture, it has always had this since it was re-done in the game. As you can see from the screenshot taken from the game, the roller doors on the cargo and shuttle bay looks to be "dented" or "bent".
Gameprint has corrected this texture error on the model they have created, they have also CUSTOM created the nudges for windows etc, the model in game does not have this. In the game the model simply has a window texture, but the Gameprint model has physical inprints for every window, amazing detail work right there.

Just got a tracking number for my 4inch ship's delivery, so their previous estimate of September wasn't accurate I guess. I'll post pics when it arrives!
Well this is concerning, just received another email:
Our QA team noticed that there was a small details missing on your file. So if for any reason you don't like the ship we sent you. Just let me know and we will work something out.

Just got my 4" in the mail, I'll post some pics in a bit but I'd like to get some clarification on something, was the 4" supposed to come with a stand? I was expecting one, but there isn't one included in the package, before I complain to them I want to make sure I didn't just TRIBBLE-u-me one would be included.
Overall I'm happy with it, though I am disappointed in the overall blurriness. The pylons aren't really sturdy enough to support the nacelles, but this is something I knew might happen. Also as you can see on the saucer the ships are printed exactly as they are in game, so if it's a lower poly ship like this one is then some rounded surfaces will likely have a series of angled lines rather than a smooth curve. This was another thing I kind of expected though so I can't fault Gameprint for it.
I am still waiting on the ship I ordered in March. They promised me a gift for the long wait time, but I haven't received anything yet.
I suspect the problem could be that I made a Constitution Class based ship. I seems to me they have the biggest issues with stability of the nacelles? But I don't really know, since I haven't gotten any detailed information so far. I send them a new mail yesterday asking for more information on the delays, but (not surprisingly, on a weekend) have not gotten a reply yet.
