Idea for account wide settings instead of settings for each character

I am getting flustered by having to go into each of my characters to make adjustments in the settings. Some people have more characters than I do and having to adjust the settings on each and every one can be a hassle. Wouldn't it be easier to have ALL settings but the colors of the UI be ACCOUNT wide instead of per character?

My chat boxes are no longer uniform. I'm pro account wide stuff. I would love account wide assets (EC, refined dil, GPL, salvage, exchange and consequently mail)

I second this. That “autofire” BS screwed with me on every character.

Log in to main toon.... Options - Hud - hit "Save UI"
Relog to other toon.... Options - Hud - hit "Load UI", "Apply", "Ok"

This will transfer ALL settings (hud, ui, keybinds ets.). U only need setup team/privasy settings (block/allow team/fleet invites, anonymous/visible ets.)...

If u have many toons, just... Relog - "Load UI", "Apply", "Ok" ...

for most options having an account-wide apply option would be ideal (including when they get added, additional options such as autofire toggle and block fleet invites), however some options such as ui colour could be per character since players may want different colours for each character.

i would very much like an account setting for all this, it would save on some much time and effort when i could save a previous setting and apply to every new character on the account individually. like SWTOR's hud adjuster, but in greater detail on setting up everything to your liking.

this is one thing i would be more than happy to support as a QoL feature.

All my toons have their windows in essentially the same place, so an account wide setting would be nice. And for chat channels colors too. It's a pain to get each toon's chat channels the same colors without switching back and forth.

I'd prefer they left things that work untouched as they do have a very nasty habit of breaking things and not discovering the break until the change goes live.

Good chance that the first thing they'd have happen was to remove everyones UI from sight.

That said I wish they'd fix the interface scaling that we currently have. I knocked mine down to 0.85 (not much of a change but better for a widescreen monitor) but the wave scanning ends up with parts of the wave clipping in at the top and bottom

Good idea.

I find it especially annoying that I have to reorganise my chat boxes every time I create a new character, change a colour for a specific channel or join a new one.

Removing channels like system, inventory, mission and so on from the regular chat, setting up new tabs for the DPS, Science and simulation channels and for our customary fleet channel (as well as Armada chat, officer chat and so on) can become quite an irritating thing to do - even if I only have to do it once every few months.

For those that think I am speaking of only the chat or UI settings, No.....I am speaking of actual gameplay settings. Stuff like setting the type of camera, autofire, chat, and other type of settings. The UI...color, UI look, and stuff like that, I have set up differently for each character.

But it's the GAMEPLAY settings that I am asking about.
