What I mean buy this is that, in terms of suspension of disbelief, many of the queues don't make sense in-game. Take Hive Onslaught for example. I have completed this queue many many times. That said, in-game, it doesn't really make sense that the USS Houston is destroyed over and over hundreds of times. It's the same idea with the Battle of Procyon V, it doesn't make sense for this to be repeated over and over lore-wise. "Battle" is singular. I could go on and on but one probably gets the idea.
Other Queues such as Undine Assault make perfect sense being repeated over and over again. I feel like I am the only one who has ever brought this up before. I know, "it's just a game" but games can follow some rules of logic I would think.

in this case it's part of the gerne, any mmo needs repeatable content for drops/gameplay filler. lore wise it happened once . if you ned a story excuse the Battle of Procyon V is a crazy temporal thing so it repeatable makes some sense. for anything else holodeck sims.
if I stop posting it doesn't make you right it. just means I don't have enough rum to continue interacting with you.
Take ISA for example, the optional is to not allow any of the nanite train to heal the transformers; but why does this mater if 30 seconds later we nuke the whole freaking system into dust with a bazillion DPS?
It's slightly different for KSA where you need to avoid letting probes escape into the vortex, that at least makes some sense as a probe going back in time would be bad.
Ever heard of a Holodeck or a Simulator??
That's like popping in the DVDs and saying "Why is Picard being turned into Locutus for the 700th time?" or "Why are they constantly retaking DS9 back from the Dominion?" You're replaying an episode, not participating in a new one every single time.
PROBLEM SOLVED!
Also be sure to delete your character if you're ever defeated
They need to re-add this fail condition. Too many times i've been in KSA pugs where they let probes through. However what always tickles me is once the optional fails its like a wave of enlightenment suddenly hits them and pugs then concentrate on the probes when it no longer matters ??? as with the current map once 1 goes through 1 billion might as well go through.
Hello rubber banding my old friend, time to bounce around the battlezone again, where are all my bug reports going?, out of love with this game I am falling, As Cryptic fail to acknowledge a problem exists, Shakes an angry fist, And from Support all I'm hearing are the sounds of silence.
Beyond their Faction unique Arcs, it does.
Mods, please lock.
Everything makes sense when you realize that you never left that holodeck.

> Cough Kobiashi Maru anyone? cough.. it's a simulator. when they finally close the servers we will all wake up as 4th years in the academies, cause you gotta be dreaming if you think you can make admiral in 3 years
Admittedly, as a Klingon or Romulan, totally logical. Klingons value strength and battle prowess VERY highly, and you prove yourself a dangerous warrior a million times over. Romulans need flag officers, and, as such, quickly promote you as you prove your aptitude as a leader and fighter.
Even Starfleet can be rationalized as, quite frankly, impressing the TRIBBLE out of the right people, demonstrating incredible tactical and operational aptitude, and proving yourself through innumerable situations.

All of these problems could have been avoided by simply divorcing story rank from character level: story-wise we start as mid-ranked officers, then advance to captain (the canonical "hero rank", barring Sisko beginning his series as an O-5 commander) and stay there.
That assumes there are thousands of Romulan military officers that joined the Republic, at least initially (getting political recognition from the Federation and Klingons probably changed things). Start with the fact that a considerable portion of the prewar Romulan Imperial Fleet is dead: quite apart from Hobus killing fourteen billion people, Nero's rampage shortly afterwards, and getting invaded by ol' Jimmy Pok and his supporters (f**k that guy), the game picks up after close to three decades of civil war among the Romulans following Shinzon's coup. Romulan space is in ruins and their species is devastated. Then continue to the fact that D'Tan and the Unificationists that are his core supporters are a distinct political minority and most of the rest, as presented, really are just farmers and other colonials that grabbed whatever guns they could find and banded together to save their own skins.
Finally, factor in basic psychology and sociology. In the American Revolution, it's estimated that only a third of the population in the colonies were in favor of independence, the other two thirds being about evenly split between Tories and undecided. And of that number, only a relative handful ever actually picked up a gun (Washington had about 28,000 men under his command in 1776, out of an estimated 2.5 million people living in the colonies).
Most beings, most of the time, are going to pick what they think fits their own self-interest, which is even more true with Romulans given mnhei'sahe: individual Romulans are going to look to their own self-interest first and foremost (though ideally their actions benefit all concerned and not just themselves). The fact is, most rebellions fail, and setting up a country is damn difficult. Up until the Republic gets recognized, the overwhelming majority of currently commissioned RIF personnel are going to stick either with Sela's Rator III government or the Tal'Shiar junta, rather than defecting. By which point, the Romulan/Reman PC has already demonstrated considerable competence completing a wide array of objectives under terrible conditions, so I can totally see D'Tan keeping them on the fast track.
So no, I don't find rapid promotions at all unrealistic for the Republic.

The part on Nimbus is actually my favourite part of the entire game, I love the map.. The setting, the missions, the sounds and feel of the entire place.

Well, then the solution is simple.
Make all PvE queue missions playable only once. When completed the missions will be removed list of available PvE queue missions. Problem solved....
