Bio: The Royalists were founded in the days of United Earth by all of the Terran royal families. Its goal is to preserve the powers of the royalty in the democratic United Federation of Planets. Prospective members are required to be royalty/nobility before joining. The faction also offers assistance to royals that have disabilities. The current leader is Queen Mathaye IV of the House of Windsor. The RSS Windsor is the flagship of this faction. It’s more powerful than the Enterprise-F. The Windsor is a Windsor class time dreadnought under Mathaye’s command. The ship is equipped with Herald antiproton beams, neutronic and quantum phase torpedoes, and 2 hangar bays capable of launching Wyvern class raiders (Shon, if you see this ship, run.). It is escorted by cruisers, battleships, destroyers, and other warships. This ship can’t withstand a prolonged attack alone however.

Some Federation officers of royal birth(adoption)/married into royalty defect to the Royalists during 2409-10. This gives them more political clout in the Federation and they declare their independence on May 10, 2409. They settle on Kobali Prime and rename it Nova Britannia. The Royalists also move their starbase and shipyards to the planet. They begin to consolidate their forces in this system before attacking the Borg with warp capable ramming ships armed with singularity cores from the Republic. The Borg are exterminated by a combined Alliance-Royalist fleet the next year. Some surviving drones form their cooperative and ally with the Royalists. The Vaadwaur Remnant and Voth leave them alone to expand into former Borg territory. Admiral (Crown Princess) Syrat Sh'thyhlot commands the Andorian portion of the fleet from her flagship RSS Alecto (Chimesh escort).

Royalist technology is more advanced than Federation tech despite being based on the latter. This is due to the faction’s focus on survivability and the belief that no one is expendable. They also use magic to power their ships’ systems. Royalist fleets tend to be smaller than their Fed counterparts.
