New Romulan Reputation problem.

How do I get to actually do stuff on New Romulus? My AoY/temporal agent isn't able to do any of the various tasks.

The only thing that works like it did years ago when I last did the Romulan rep is the transporter system... That and the viewing the first hidden cache.

Can't talk to the foreman guy, and all the mission contacts say variations on "I have nothing for you now".

And I do kind of need this to work, given which character it is...

Um...the transporter system is an unlock once your character gets on New Romulus.

Finishing a tiers/bars in Romulan Reputation will add a mission to the mission tracker...those are the missions you do around New Romulus.

And it has been so long since I have filled out a Rep....I can't rightly remember much more of that.

Visit the romulan ambassadoe by Admiral Quinn, By the Security Officer in First City, or on DS9 by the shipyard. They will give you a mission to go to New Romulas.

I know this. The problem is that having got those missions in the mission list, I get to New Romulus and I can't do them because the contact you have to talk to won't give the right response.

Not too many more to go actually, half the Reputations are done for collecting marks. It's Delta rep that is going to be a pain for this, I haven't got the reputation sponsor token for that one...

Thankfully, you don't have to do Lukari or Competitive Reputations for the account wide unlock.

you'll need to open the mission journal and go to the New Romulus arc and run/skip all those missions until you get to the ones you need.

I hate how they revamped the NR missions, but it is what it is now. Just more hoops to jump through.

If you're talking about how at each new rom rep tier you get a cutscene mission, these aren't located in the new romulus main map

You'd have to play the cutscenes whilst IN the story mission corresponding to that area

For example, this is rusty as its been a while

Tier 2 is secret shuttle codes, which you play DURING the tal shiarlistening post mission in the area in top right. You can't play those rep cutscenes unless doing those missions as they're in mission only maps, usually some cave or tunnel

Back when I last did it, which was years ago, it used to be the case that the mission wrapper that got you access to the various areas was tied to the contact on the ground.

What they've changed it to is you now have to go through the episode list to access the mission.

I'm doing this now on a new captain. I talked with the Romulan ambassador to get the starting quest, went to New Romulus, talked to the Fed near the transporter to continue, talked to the foreman.

That got me the staging area quest. After finishing that the warehouse side area was added automatically, then the Atlai, then the Vashon Pass, etc.

The rep missions of hidden camera, secret shuttle codes, etc. are only added once you complete tier 1, tier 2, etc. of the rep. So if you only want to do the mountain pass or caves missions once you need to wait until you reach rep 2, rep 3, etc.

I stopped after reaching the second vashon pass transporter (the one near the mountain base entrance) and just added my signature to the transporter and left. I'll come back once my rep hits 2. I'll do the same for the caves one, go there and do the main mission, add myself to the transporter, then wait until I've reached rep 3.
