Hi guys,
Back around here after taking a bit of a break from the game.
So I log in, try to get my bearings in order and I notice that I now have an eight, experimental, weapon on my Mat'Ha Raptor. I suppose it a default (basic) one because it's MK XII. So I looked around, checked the STO Wiki to see what's going on, etc.
The thing is, I tend to keep all things as canon-looking as possible - especially on my main Klingon in the Mat'Ha. And that blue-whiteish and fat beam this experimental weapon projects is just a sore in the eyes to me.
So my question is - is there any other experimental weapon that can be mounted there that projects green beams/cannon fire or green/red torpedoes and such? I've seen that there are several different types in the STO Wiki, but can't find out how most of them look upon using anywhere.

I'll look into the Miradorn Raider then, from your description it seems that would fit nicely. I'll also check out in game with someone from my fleets that has the Ferasan ship - I've got a Ferasan that is one of my favorite characters, so if the Railgun is subtle enough for me that would "kill two flies with one shot" - Ferasan ship for my Ferasan and an acceptable experimental weapon for my main Klingon. The freebie one is just way over the top to me.
I have 3 "main" characters, one for each faction, and I try to keep things completely canon (even if it means less dps or such) on them just for pure gameplay enjoyment. I'm more liberal on other characters, but I main KDF so my Klingon is my No.1 char and I've been in love with the Mat'Ha ever since it got out, so I want to stick with her on that char.
