Question about the Plasma Repeater Pistol Mk XII and the Romulan Plasma Flamethrower

About a month ago I was using the google looking up sto stuff and I'm thinking I came across something that makes the secondary attacks of these 2 weapons the Plasma Repeater Pistol Mk XII and the Romulan Plasma Flamethrower recharge faster I cant remember if it was a kit or a consumable device or if I'm just remembering wrong anyone have a clue?

    cool ty ethereal. does anyone know if the Tactical Kit Module - Deadly Intent the Instantly refills 88% of all Plasma Fuel pools works on the Plasma Repeater Pistol Mk XII 2ndary fire mod?

    I haven't tested Deadly Intent with any weapon that uses plasma fuel. I suppose I can test it tonight. I mostly use Deadly Intent to shorten the cooldown time for the Boolean Cannon. Note to self... Open more lockboxes to obtain more Lobi Crystals to buy more Boolean Cannons....

    The Plasma Repeater Pistol is an okay weapon. I only use it with one character though because I got it as a reward from "Uneasy Allies" with the [Run] mod. :smiley: I actually prefer the Piercing Plasma Beam Rifle; same range as pistol, but much deadlier because of shield penetration. Now if there was only a mission episode that rewards a Plasma Wide Beam Rifle or Piercing Plasma Beam Rifle with a chance of getting the [Run] mod...

    FYI the deadly intent mod does refill the plasma repeater pistols 2nd fire mod.

    Yeah, I just tested Deadly Intent on a Piercing Plasma Beam Rifle. It nearly fills the plasma pool to max so I guess 88% filled is correct. It also makes the rifle immediately ready for secondary fire again. Then again, it has a pretty short cooldown compared to a Boolean Cannon.

    The Boolean Cannon has a 12 second cooldown (at least for my characters based on ground skills). While Deadly Intent is active, the secondary fire mode is ready after a 3 or 4 second cooldown. But that is only after I fire off a primary attack.

    A trait worth considering is Firearms Specialist. It provides a 10% chance for the secondary attack cooldown to be reduced by 50% and also refills weapon fuels by 25%.
