Help with new Bajoran character - how does it parse Bajoran names?

Hello. I am creating a new character, a Bajoran. How should I enter the name, given that Bajoran's use their last name first?
E.G., Ro Laren's family name was first. So if I was naming the character after her, how would I do it?

Should I enter like, "Ro Laren" like it's normal, or should I enter "Laren Ro"?
Also, should I change the thing that says formal name order, so that it does First Name, then last? or Last Name, then first?
Really 2 questions here.
Any help would be appreciated.

You would write it 'backwards.'

Ro Laren was called 'Ensign Ro.' Her actual name was Laren, which is why they didn't call her 'Ensign Laren' like they would if she was a Human.

Kira Nerys was the same way, her name was Nerys but her title was 'Major Kira.' Odo and others that didn't refer to her by rank called her Nerys.

The game will address your character by his/her last name when using titles, so for the game if you were making Ro Laren as a character, you would enter the name as Laren Ro. That would make the game call you 'Captain Ro' which would be the proper way to address a Bajoran Captain with that name.

Although, I have noticed a few times when the game referred to my character by first name, so it may not be 100% accurate.

I normally just use one of their names or a nickname for the unchangeable name.

The formal name should default to the style appropriate for the race. It starts with the 'Last name first' order appropriate for a Bajoran, though it only works properly if you put the first name in the first name box and the last name in the last name box.

The only time I've noticed my character referred to with his given name first is by Hakeev, who is a racist TRIBBLE anyway.
