A few things that caught my attention:
During the final fight against the Hur'q ships, one of the Tzenkethi says 'destroy the Drantzuuli' (or something similar). So it seems the Drantzuuli and Hur'q are the same species. This would imply that the Klingons didn't know what the Hur'q looked like, which seems odd.
If they are different species, then I wonder if we've seen the last of the Drantzuli.

More along the line that the bugs were a servitor race from the Hur'q.
Feels a bit like Iconians mk. 2. Would not be surprised if it was actually a vengeful T'ket which brought the Hur'q back

Perhaps the Drantzuli are either A) some form of Hur'q derivation (think something like Augments for humanity), or B ) as stated above, some form of client/servitor race
I forgot to wonder about that lol.
Good point though, where is he? The Defiant survived Midnight.
Maybe. Of course it's also possible that they're unrelated, or maybe there's some sort of symbiosis that causes them to lay eggs near Hur'q ships.
The Drantzuli seemed to be a non-advanced species so I doubt they'd be of much use to the Hur'q. Or maybe they're just an earlier state of the Hur'q, like a larvae or something.
I almost hit alt f4 when I heard his voice.
The wraith were in hibernation with a handful of their own kind looking after them as they slept, death of a queen is what got the ball rolling.
SG servitor race would be the jaffa and to a certain extent the human worshippers of the ori.
One thing they don't explain is that if the bugs aren't hatched how are they meant to be doing the actual caretaking part
I saw someone mention him in zone chat but didn't seem any trace of him during the episode. Maybe he only spams comms during stealth infiltration missions.
Hopefully he is dead, as bringing that character back for an entire expansion would be the worst punchline possible for a painfully bad joke. Worse exodus of players than delta grinding caused would ensue.
What I found interesting was the state DS9 was in at the end of the episode. Is this foreshadowing that they're finally going to update the station, much as they blew up ESD during the Iconian War in order to replace it with the updated version?
Probably yeah. It was the first thing I thought when I saw one of the pylons break loose
Depends.. have you guys joined the Federation yet?
Secondly, Starbases are semi-mobile, and can easily be "pulled" through warp (Look at what the Terran Empire does with Terok Nor). Also, we don't yet know exactly what kind of tech we're up against, so they may have developed mobile bases.
As to adding systems to specifically bolster primary paths, I could see perhaps adding a set of passive buffs linked to each profession, showcasing what their path is closer towards. Tacticals perhaps gaining weapon buffs, Engineers getting buffs that improve their stability and ability to cripple enemies, and Scientists getting buffs to improve both healing and manipulation of enemies and space.
I hope that is why there was static after Kurland announcing himself.
Then again he already showed his true form during the nexus incident so maybe there'll be a jailbreak and the two of them will do us all a favour by vanishing down a blackhole never to be heard from again.
Draantzuli though could have a instinct that makes them cultivate world, and guard the technology left behind by the adult stage (Hur'q), also looking at how the Hur'q might have created the Fek'Ihri they could have made changes to the earlier stages of their life-cycle to act as caretakers.
It could also be that Draantzuli is just another name for the Hur'q given to them, and that in the gamma quad they might have even another name that area knows them as.
Also though right now all we saw was pretty much Hur'q swam craft, and so what if like ants they have specialized craft an members of their race. Like the swam craft as well as the Draantzuli are like gathers an worker type members of the race, while the Hur'q specially that Klingons saw were more soldier types, and somewhere else maybe in the gamma quad there is another caste/type of Hurq like royalty.
l don't know.
l really don't know what l'm about to say, except l have a feeling about it.
That l must repeat the words that come without my knowledge.'
Yeah I agree the swammers went down really fast, though that is how such a craft would go down. They almost act like Locus attacking in mass on targets, though it will be interesting to see what the later ships are like as we have only seen what i would see as hanger-pet level ships to light escorts.
Yeah, but based on the NPC dialogue going on in the background (panicked calls for help, ships exploding, etc), they're apparently Really Dangerous lore-wise.
That's probably what the other ships were having so much trouble with.
Since they were swarmed literally.
And yeah that Kurland Here... triggered me. And I didn't do the last mission over and over again... on one toon I had to do it on multiple toons. >.>;
At least there's some good points with this mission. I definitely liked beaming to the Tzenkethi Battlestation and dealing with the Tzenkethi Admiral and killing that Captain that appeared when we saved Martok.
We had Kurland Here appear in another mission before this one aka Midnight. >.<
