REQUEST: verify files & limit download speed

Like Steam, Origin, GOG, battle.net, UPlay, we have options/settings to limit download speeds of game files, and then verify/validate the game files upon 100% completion.

I have a slow internet and would like to throttle/limit downloading the game upon first installation, as well as when downloading game patches. However there's no option/settings for limit download speed.

Also, there's no option to verify my game files.

DEVELOPER TEAM REQUEST: please implement limit speed option in the game installer. Please also inplement "verify/check" files.

I use Steam and Origin and I have never seen an option for limiting download speeds. Then again, I have never looked for an option like that as none of them are able to transfer files to me at anywhere near the speeds my internet is capable of.

I am kind of puzzled, considering how long it can take to download the game/patches even on my 75MBS connection, why would someone with a slow connection want to slow it down even more ?

Oh, I forgot, although it was broken recently and might or might not be fixed yet, the STO launcher has a "Force Verify" check box if you feel the nee to verify your files.
