VR Headset concept (Inspired by SAO)
Name: SoulDive
Description: The (SoulDive) is a next-gen VR gaming headset. It uses experimental brain scanners and transmitters to transfer the user’s consciousness into an “avatar” in a video game world (virtual world). The avatar is controlled by the players’ brains. There is an auto logout feature that activates when the power is about to shut off or game maintenance is about to commence. A manual logout feature is available in the game menu. This is based on the NerveGear from Sword Art Online.
Appearance: The headset is a blue helmet equipped with neural scanners and transmitters that transfer a user’s consciousness into an avatar after the user selects a game from the main menu. It uses sensory and brain wave data to transfer the user’s consciousness into said avatar.
Respawning: When a player “dies” ingame, his/her avatar is transported to an area called a “Sanctuary”. The avatar’s HP and MP are restored to maximum levels. His/her currency and XP points stay the same.
