Temporal wepon ship scale down?

Som thing I'm mulling for a fan fic; could the krenim temporal weapon ship's tech be scaled down into say a rifle for surgical erasures from history? that strikes me as more useful then the big gun; target say the ship that nukes the archive or cranky pants T'ket...
A Trill, a Gorn, a Jem'Hadar, Bejoran and a Voth walk into a bar, and the Bartender asks "What is this a Joke?"
"Nope, just my away team" the trill replies before ordering a round for the bar.

    considering I'm giving Daniels the back story that he got drunk at a pub and inspired Dr. Who with his rambelings...
