Conditional Statement (Multiple Story Possibilities) in the Foundry?

Admittedly, I am new to the Foundry (despite playing STO since the beginning and appreciating Foundry missions). I was wondering if there is a good way to make a conditional situation based on dialogue choices? Honestly, I am really just trying to create a holodeck simulation with difficulty levels. It doesn't seem like it should be that difficult to do in theory. Am I missing something?

    Difficulty levels for combat could be made to a degree with triggers (have the number of NPC groups spawning be based on the dialogue choice) but the system is quite limited and any more advanced/complex conditional statements are outright unavaible.

    That is precisely what I am trying to do. Could you possibly walk me through (or point me to instructions elsewhere) how to do that?

    Basics of it are like this you setup a base difficulty that always spawns, lets call that "easy" for now, then you make 2(or how many difficulty setting beyond "easy" you want) sets of additional NPC groups, when the player clicks the additional difficulty level the group(s) earmarked for that difficulty setting should be set to spawn when that dialogue prompt is used.

    There's some veteran Foundry authors that can probably explain it better and you should probably check the Foundry roundtable Youtube channel as well as their twitch channel for more info.
