2 Points on Romulan ships

I know it's pretty common for players to request more Romulan ships/get upset that there aren't enough. But I did want to get a little more specific in my request.

Subcommander rank literally has one Romulan original starship to choose from without buying from the C-Store (which only adds one ship option). Granted that ship is the Mogai and it is a pretty solid multi-functional starship, but it is still just one option. Ideally, or honestly just for balance purposes, there should be one ship to emphasize each career. But I'm going to specifically request a Romulan designed refit of the D7 design. Since there is a TOS renaissance of sorts occurring, bringing out the original big Romulan battleship from that era would be a big plus for STO. I suggest the refit be engineering focused to correspond with the K'Tinga class available at the Subcommander rank. The ship should have a distinctly Romulan flare to it's design but a zen purchased TOS skin would also be a good idea. Frankly, the addition of ANY additional low ranking Romulan ships would be appreciated.

My second suggestion is for Cryptic to make T6 variants of the Ha'nom and Ha'feh class ships. The Ha'apax is already included in T6 but the best we can hope for in regards to her sister classes is a Fleet T5+. Upgrading these two classes to fill needed science and tactical roles would be much more cost effective for the company, and arguably more enjoyable for the players, than pumping out the really weird and obnoxious designs we Romulans have been getting lately - Explorer and Miracle Worker Warbirds, I'm looking at you.... In my opinion the Ha'apax, Ha'nom, and Ha'feh, designs are some of the most inspiring Romulan ships this game has ever produced, and I definitely want to see more of them.

Summary:
1. Add at least one lower rank Romulan Warbird to better balance with Starfleet and KDF selections. Specifically requesting a D7 Refit.
2. Upgrade Ha'nom and Ha'feh classes to T6

More Romulun ships would be nice.

Also last check the D7 is a klingon cruiser not a warbird

    a link to prove it

The D7 was designed by Klingons but shared with the Romulans during the TOS era alliance. It saw significant use in the Romulan fleet for years. The same link you shared as proof of your Klingon only claim says so itself. :#

Sadly I've been asking for a Romulan D-7 for about as long as reyan has been asking for a T5/T6 Nova.

I don't know why they would continue to ignore it, TOS ships usually in pretty high demand for any Star Trek game. Ah Cryptic in their "infinite wisdom". Still, crossing fingers for one day.

Do want. Likely won't get though. I would pay money for it at least, and I constitute a large percentage of the playerbase.........maybe.

I love the Ha'nom and the Ha'feh. My Romeng has a mirror Ha'feh and my Romsci has a Ha'nom. T6 versions of both would open my wallet.
Now a LTS and loving it.

I LOVE flying my Kara. It'd be great to get Sci and Tac versions, they even have ship models for it already.

Supposedly, that was the alliance that gave Romulans matter/anti-matter power in exchange for older cloaking devices. In reality, they needed Romulan ships for the episode but had lost the original model.

There are definitely plenty of opportunities and combat roles these two ships can fill at T6. But I was thinking about the Ha'nom earlier today and what kind of special console it could offer that would make it a viable T6 ship.

I'm thinking a "Di-Singularity Matrix" console. It would increase base power for all systems by X amount, reduce the recharge time on Singularity powers by 50% and maybe increase the potency of those same Singularity powers by X amount - basically Warp Shadow would last X amount of time longer and Plasma Shockwave would do X amount of extra damage, etc.

Thoughts? This would be for the Science ship version.

LOL that'll help with the look for sure, but not the console slots or the boff layouts ;)

Working off a Romulan D7, it'd be interesting to have either a core or console that disables the Singularity system in exchange for boosts to subsystem power across the board. For a Romulan ship that plays like standard ones

The Ha'feh is fine, but the Ha'nom handles like an 18-wheeler truck with 20 flat tires.

LOL well the Ha'nom is a sluggish large cruiser, but it still turns on a dime compared to the D'Deridex or Ha'apax :D

Yeah, but it also looks like a flying doorstop. I like it, but it'd be cool to use, say, my T'liss or Hathos instead.
    Also, I'm on console

Couple of turn consoles helps the turn rate. It's a pretty tough ship and does what it's supposed to do.
