Hey guys just curious if anyone else would ever have any interest in a create your own pack or whatever you might call it.
For example I see they have lots of packs for sale on the c store. Maybe T6 Odyssey Bundle, Command Starfleet Battlecruiser Bundle, or T6 Cross Faction Cruiser Bundle.
Honestly I would really like the ability to create my own bundle. For example I would be interested in the Sojourner but not the Endeavor, or Yorktown. Or the Ops Command Battlecrusier but neither the Science or Tactical versions. Or the Arbiter but not the Kurak or Morrigu. Would Cryptic ever allow us a way to do this? Would anyone ever care or take advantage of this?
I know personally I will unfortunately never buy any of the bundles they have as I am never interested in more then one ship per bundle. By allowing us to create our own, I would not hesitate to pull the trigger on spending some money in the c store.
Thoughts?

They're never going to have an option to pick any 3 T6 ships that you want for the price of just 2 ships, or 9 for the price of 4. They will make less money doing that than with the current system, and as we point out in every other similar "it would be nice if Cryptic did this thing for me" thread:
- Cryptic/PWE is a business
- You get the story episodes and queues for free
- C-Store ships, Lock Box, Lobi and Pack sales are what pay for the servers, staff, and voice actors. Lowering prices gives them less money to bring you the free content
It doesn't matter whether you personally as a single buyer will spend less money under the current system. What matters is how much players as a group will spend.
I, for one, would buy more, but I don't have extra funds, so I do the best I can with what the game gives me or that I can craft.
T6 versions of:
Patrol Escort, Star Cruiser, Deep Space and Recon Science Vessel, Hegh'ta BoP, Vo'quv Carrier and Vor'cha Battlecruiser.
"Let them eat static!"
Just for arguments sake instead of 6K for three ships, make it 9K. There could be other restrictions for balancing or whatnot. I wasn't suggesting that I get something for nothing, only that I wish I had the ability to purchase the ships that I was interested in.
I am sure there are still plenty of whales playing the game who wouldn't have any problem spending some additional Zen to get exactly what they want.
They can still allow the current system to exist it does not need to be either or. Sadly, to me, the bundles are a waste of money as they currently exist. Why would I spend 6k or more depending on the bundle for multiple ships I don't want when I can spend 2-3 k for the single ship? Simple math do they want me to spend 6K worth of Zen or 3K worth of Zen? Small, at least in my opinion, changes, would get me to spend substantially more money.
Edit: typos
You can get 3 ships for 9K now, just buy them separately. I can't think of any cases where you must buy a bundle to get a ship, the closest is that you can only get the Voyager bridge bundled.
Except that buying ships separately breaks bundles up, which is something that you should never do.
Basically, when you're buying a bundle that is made up of 3 variants of the same ship, you're essentially unlocking the ability to customize the ship to your liking. If you were purchasing a single ship, then you're losing out on the customization features that they spent time in developing, as well as consoles that those ships come with. No one says you have to keep the ships once you purchase them.
For instance, I purchased a few of the mega bundles. What I do is I take one ship, put all of the consoles together, then delete the other two ships from my list of ships I have and I can fly the one I want.
and since that is 7, add romulan versions of the Voquv and Vor'cha
I share your view that "Space Barbie is the real endgame" but not everyone agrees with us
Being able to customize ships matters to me, and so does being able to play with the full console set. But some people do just want a single ship and care much more about specs and mastery traits than the looks.
I was just pointing out that you can already make your own "bundle" if you pay full list price for individual ships, which is what @terascque said they were willing to do.
