T5 Temporal Battlecruiser Universal Console question

Is this thing Tier 5 only? I was playing around with some ship builds and noticed I can’t equip the Photonic Decoy Beacon from the T5 Temp B/Cruiser onto the T6 Temp B/Cruiser

I’d then look about upgrading the T5 Temporal Battlecruiser to T5-U but it can’t be upgraded!

Is this meant to be like this? Are there other Universal Consoles in STO that can only be fitted to T5 ships?

Yep, that's the way it's supposed to works it seems for this ship. Cryptic knows about the console not being equip-able on the T6 and have never said it's a bug. Not being able to T5-U the ship is to help 'nudge' people into buying the full hundred-dollar plus pack, or at the bare minimum the smaller Starter pack (which includes the T6 and is cheaper than the the T6 by itself) and the T5 ship.

I can't recall of any other ship with restrictions like these, so it's a special case. However, most T5 consoles are fit-able on only variants of that ship, not all ships.
