Lore, Data, and B4

Ok, I get that Data's information was already up loaded to Bee, but wouldn't Lore's more advanced body have been worth trying to activate the matrix in?
A Trill, a Gorn, a Jem'Hadar, Bejoran and a Voth walk into a bar, and the Bartender asks "What is this a Joke?"
"Nope, just my away team" the trill replies before ordering a round for the bar.

Thought Lore was taken apart and destroyed?

Buuut.........knowing Starfleet and probably Section 31............he's most likely in storage in the sub basement at Starfleet Command. Look at all the other stuff that's there that's not officially there. =3

    * coughGenesisDevicecough*

He was dismantled, though could probably be put back together. Not that there's likely to be many in Starfleet that would really want to...

    "B-4" = "bee four" = "before"

That's where he got his name.

so that was only coincidence? or maybe following the same logic? or was b4 some name of some other robot from somewhere else? also b4 was first seen 2002 right? or was there something before that?

B4 was a way for Brent Spiner to keep playing Data (if they decided to do so) while appearing physically less optimal (because Brent was getting on in years).

B4 is the prototype that came before Data. No references to obscure apartment names in random movies entirely unrelated to Star Trek. That would be like saying "Tom Paris' character is a reference to Napoleon Bonaparte because his name is Paris and Paris is a city in France". It makes no sense.

Oh really? And what irony have I so blatantly missed, if you would care to point it out?

Edit: I will point out that robots striving to become more human is not a concept only shared between that movie and Star Trek, and that yes, I do actually know the plot of Bicentennial Man. It's still unrelated.

-Lore was dismantled because he was judged to be too dangerous by Data.
-When Data sacrificed himself and already had a copy of himself uploaded into B4 before hand, all that data was eventually processed and started to imprint on the B4 droid, over the course of years Data returned through B4 and was eventually promoted to Captain and CO of the Ent E.
    - B4 Effectively ceased to exist when the data of another android was unravelling. Unknown what happened to the B4 personality.
    - It is very possible the B4 droid got some upgrades, through Data or Starfleet Engineering who probably retained Lore (the whole android in bits) and everything on Data (scans, adjustments, upgrades, complete diagnostics and so on) as well.. This could of formed a basis for an upgrade for the android hardware and software. or taken some bits and pieces from Lore and added them to the B4 android.

Almost everything you said is wrong.
-Data didn't upload himself into B4(at least not intentionally). He uploaded a lot of the data(no pun intended) he had acquired though the years into B4 as a means to try to help B4's neural net evolve into something less primitive. That his whole personality got uploaded was something of an accident.

-Data also didn't return via B4 normally. It was Geordi, working with the Daystrom Institute, who eventually found what amounted to the "black box" of Data's personality in B4's mind, and reactivated it, causing Data to return.

-Its point blank stated that Georgi and the Daystrom Institute, along with Data's help, managed to upgrade "his" neural net back to what it was before(again, no pun intended), as well as recreate the emotion chip, thus returning him to full functionality.

-Its also entirely known what happened to be B4 personality. Originally, Data, who didn't believe his life was inherently more valuable then B4's, attempted to delete himself from B4's body, so B4 could have a chance at life. But B4, seeing that people needed Data, blocked it, and then seemingly deleted himself from his own body instead, forcing Data to stay alive essentially. However, it was later discovered B4 hadn't actually deleted himself, but rather went in what amounted to his own "black box"

Please read the Path to 2409, or at least look at the wiki, before commenting on lore matters like this, so you don't spread such terrible misinformation again.

i couldn't give a damn what you are going on about.
