Intrepid Frustrations?

I don't know how many of you captain a long range science vessel, if not all the time then at least from time-to-time. Regardless, you must have noticed that since Agents of Yesterday came about the nacelles in sector space are no longer at the 45 degree upward angle the animation shows them transitioning to/from when you warp out/into a system.

For me, this is really getting annoying. And after innumerate bug reports both in the forums and in the game I have to wonder; am I alone in this annoyance? Do you want your transitioned nacelles back in sector space fellow captains?

Cryptic Devs, for the love of such an iconic ship please fix this already...

    Yes it is a annoyance, but it's a minor annoyance that doesn't upset the function of the ship or game and therefore isn't a priority. It'll get fixed when they have time.

    Well, hate to say it but the Nacelle function of the Intrepid becomes broken or fixed to varying degrees with nearly every patch. Not sure why it keeps breaking in the first place but it does, and yes it's annoying, and sad... but ultimately doesn't effect the "performance" of the ship so it's not a gamebreaking bug they HAVE to fix ASAP.

    They screwed it up that recently? I can barely remember a time when nacelles were folded up in sector space, or my captain ran instead of walking in fast-forward during cutscenes, or my captains actually sat on chairs instead of standing on them or the million or so other animations they messed up.

    Meaning the game will close for good before it gets fixed most likely. Especially since it's not a new item pulling in major sales.

    I'm pretty sure all (or at least most) variable-nacelle ships have the same problem as the Intrepid.

    Well, it's such an iconic ship and it comes with such a fantastically accurate bridge and interior I'm sure it still brings in a fair number of sales and pulls for the game. And given the nacelles were fine before Agents of Yesterday for years...I just wish it was a higher-importance fix as things go.

    Whatever happened, I'd hope it was an easy enough fix to quickly resolve in the next patch...

    *sigh*
