Another $100 dropped today on this "promotion"...and still nothing. Up to $2100 on these "promotions" since August and not a one promotional box ship to show for it. My choice of course....but this is beyond bad luck... It would seem the sellers have the buying power to profit from these promotions over players who play it the right way...
Why won't the Dev's just offer to sell these featured ships? They can still make a good amount of money... and remove the unfair "casino" style gameplay.I mean... it's not like these items are limited supply in a warehouse.. Other games like MWO etc. allow you to pre-order new "ships" or buy them outright...No gambling...and no spending $200 on something I would not have bought if it weren't for the ship being in this "box" in the first place. It is bait and switch... and for me in this case..and so far every case where I NEVER get the featured item....I lose out a lot. Yet I run into a player flying one of these new ships and I ask this person how many boxes it took to get it...and in terrible English I am told he/she got 3 in 20 boxes (not sure I believe that) and after I tell this person I just opened 100 boxes with nothing, I get a stinkin' link to a 3rd party site where the other 2 are being sold for $15 cheaper than I just paid to get nothing!! In a video game!! This is the kind of shenanigans people get the TRIBBLE beat out of them for in my town in real life.
So...instead of seeing this as a complaint.... learn from my misfortune and video recording... the odds are very slim... I could have bought 200 keys and sold them for 900mil and still be a couple months shy of buying one from exchange. Save your money and don't endorse in TRIBBLE like this man.... Go spend $200 on lottery tickets..at least you have better odds of getting a small portion of it back.
Now I am sure this will be closed or deleted for showing how this really works in my vid...but hey... I pay to play...
Nope, nothing new here. Covered in dozens of other lock box and promo pack threads.
- The RNG gods still hold sway over gamblers
- You can still buy ships on the exchange for much, much less than $2100 with 100% success
- You can still buy other ships for $30 zen each or less from the C-Store
- You can still get event ships for free
If you like to gamble, then fine. Enjoy the thrill, the consolation prizes, and the tiny chance of getting a ship.
If you don't want to gamble, buy a ship for zen or credits or event grinding. Different ships require different methods and prices from $0 to $300+ but that's life. Special ships command special prices, and you have other choices.
If you want someone to blame for these predatory practices, feel free to direct yourself to the nearest mirror.
The only reason that gamble boxes are a thing is because there are people out there with more money then brains. Putting $2100 into a Video Game is absolute madness. Sorry, but you deserve what you got.
You learned a very expensive lesson, remember it going forward.

It's a general rage thread with your tone and language...
You've basically promoted a gold scammer website with your video...
You've named and shamed with personal identifying information in your videos...
You're spamming the forum with separate threads and videos about the same thing, hence the merge...
Perhaps you need to go back and read the community rules before posting another one of these.
