Inherited a fleet...what should I do?

Howdy all,
Been playing STO casually the last couple of years, joined a fleet a while back. Looks like I'm the only active member of the fleet at the moment, and I'm wondering what should I do. I have control of it now, which is nice, but its a low level 12 with a couple of completed projects. I'd like to keep it going as I think it would be shame to let it go to waste, but I also wonder would I be better cutting ties and getting involved with a more active fleet? Has anyone been in this situation before? Is making it part of an armada a good idea? Like I said, I'm quite a casual player, still feel like I've a lot to learn. Any advice would be really appreciated, thanks in advance :-)

But there are so many max level fleets out there, if fleet gear is all you are after and you already have all the Fleet Credits you need you would probably be better off joining a max level fleet. Someone out there might want your fleet to put in their armada. I know our fleet has a couple sub-fleets that fleet members made just to make sub-fleets for generating Fleet Credits.
Pros and cons to both, I'd try the armada thing first. You can always give/kill the fleet off later if it doesn't work out.
