Liberated Borg question

I've been wondering about this for a while now, but why is the Liberated Borg Boff restricted to a specific sex and department?

On that note; why are Boff and Player Borg restricted to a specific species, instead of being just Liberated Borg and having the unrestricted options aliens and some of the android/photonic Boffs have?

because they were designed as a lifetime only toon back in year one. no one went back and changed it.

The real fun comes in when you realize that lib borg only rarely have any difference in their traits despite being different species. Also there's several Borg species now.

Nobody knows ....

but probably it is just always the same Traits ...




and to many visual modifications

Assimilated Undine and Assimilated Gorn and the Borg Queen ... were probably alot of work

That never bothered me. What does get to me is that if I put her in a skirt, she loses the mechanical skin.

I can't tell if you're attempting to disagree with my question or support it... all you did was highlight exactly what I was talking about without adding any comment.

Not sure what the relevance the player Borg stuff has to do with the question, either...

The original Liberated Borg Bridge Officer was originally a preorder for getting the game from Amazon before being added to the C-Store. The system that allowed us to pick the gender and class of Bridge Officer was introduced in Season 2 with the Diplomacy Bridge Officers. When Season 2 came around, we already had the initial Liberated Borg Bridge Officer from the C-Store and the Liberated Borg Bridge Officer from the Assimilated Accolade. So due to these two Bridge Officers, it restricted the Liberated Borg Officers available.

Although, it is possible to Borgify almost any female Bridge Officer with the Seven of Nine costume. It used to be limited to female Bridge Officers for Federation-aligned Captains, but it might be available to all female Bridge Officers.

Yeah, Borg boffs are special boffs and most special boffs you don't get to choose profession or gender.
