Lock boxes

shinku#4469 shinku Member Posts: 164 Arc User
I'm new to opening lock boxes. Never opened one before except for the one off ferengi box from a mission.
I want to know, what is the typical amount of lobi you get per box? I know it says at least 4 on the wiki page, but just wanted
to see if this is still up to date.
My ultimate aim is to get the Boolean heavy cannon one day.

The minimum is 4 and the average IIRC is a little over 5.

While it'll almost always be higher than 4 average, assuming 5 is a bit problematic if you're going for answering how many boxes is needed for a given Lobi store item. My last large pull of boxes on Holodeck was a scant 4.5 Lobi average.

Expect 4 lobi each box and anything else is a miracle.

Averages are fine but they'll never mention how many boxes you'll have to open in order to get close to let alone above that average of 5.

Regardless of how many boxes you open, you are always most likely to get close to the average per box. Deviations either way are due to luck. Opening more boxes (a larger sample size), the total result will always tend toward the average, never above it.

That's literally what the average means.
