Arc chat not working

I am trying to get that chat of Arc Games to work, I have a friend who does not get my messages and it seems he does not get mine either. Mail in game works, chat in the game-chat wiondow at the bottom works too with him but not the Arc chat. What is wrong and how do I solve it?
