QOL: Equip screen

in Star Trek Online General Discussion
Search something in the Equip screen - if you have a lot of equipment - is time-consuming.
If you find the console/cannon/turret etc. at all.
As a QOL is it possible to put tabs in the Equip screen?
I mean: a tab for the "Cannons", one for the "Tactical Consoles", one for the "Universal Consoles" etc. etc.?

    Tips:

    Put all excess ship gear on active roster ships. rename if you must to reflect whats stored on them.

    If what you are looking for is in your inventory, move to a map that doesn't have bank access.

    If what you're looking for for your ship, is in your inventory, move to a map that doesn't have bank access.

    This way, you an go to the ship selector to grab any ship gear you might have stored, and the bank for any ground gear you may have there. If it's in your inventory, it should always be listed in the first items of the equip item window.

    I'd prefer a option to disable the equip screen. I find it an annoying pop up that both gets in the way and is screen clutter.

    Same. I only use it for quick swap out on kit modules.

    Unless I misunderstand something you can already do that, it's called doing it the older way, AKA click-and-drag from inventory.

    You can do it that way. Or even right click the item and click equip.
