Is this a typo? Doesn't make sense to me to have these buffs out of combat....

    Been a while since I payed attention to tribbles but I think you can only apply their buffs out of combat?
    Can't have a honest conversation because of a white knight with power

    Correct; the buffs take effect in combat, but the Tribble can only be used to apply them outside of it. It's just a bit of silly word arrangement's all.

    I think Cryptic should really mess with players' mind using something like...

    "Immune to antiproton damage when not in combat."

    Or add a new Tribble bred with Quadrotricilite; "'K-7 Tribble'; 100% chance for Klingons to run screaming in terror and be dishonored."
