• Fleet Disruptor Beam Array Mk XII [CrtD][Dmg]x3

... Or a...

• Withering Disruptor Mk XII [CrtD][Dmg]x2

... ?

Fleet is better, hands down. Four mods and decent proc vs. three (random forth mod) and a sub-par proc. If you push a Withering Disruptor to Ultra-rare the mod you get is random, and since [dmg] is considered one of the top mods for PvE DPS purposes, you can end up with a lower par weapon for likely higher cost (as rarity increases are random for everything but a Keyring Upgrade).

The only Withering Disruptor Beam Array worth its salt is the one from the Reputation project, the Terran Task Force Disruptor Beam Array, which one of the top weapons in general due to it's special feature of increasing damage as the target's health decreases.

My Vor’cha flys with Withering for color consistency. I haven’t anything better to do, so I’ve been rolling the dice on getting crtDx3. One so far and brought it up to epic.

If you are going for really high dps, anything with a dot isn't going to perform if an afflicted ship dies in 3 seconds.

Not too much convincing: color consistency is nice, but I think that won't be an issue - no offence! - since I've planned to use also "exotic" disruptors from some set or another (i.e. "resonant Disruptor").
