Ambush Boolean cannon (and pixie dust) makes a space ship die with one shot.
Why aren’t we just sending rocket men into fights? Why even build space ships if they’re at a tactical disadvantage to ground forces?
I bet I could solo that big mothership hovering in the background if it would let me.

Also recommended for things like BOTSE. Or against Voth mechs.
If you don't like easy kills, don't use that module. And don't use a Boolean Assault gun of course.
Near each inhibitor would be a munitions crate that you can interact with to collect one; it could be represented either by a buff or an actual device (which players would have to clear space for), which adds an action to the taskbar ('Acquire Target', for want of something better). You target the shuttle, and click this to start the acquisition process - it takes a few seconds, during which the player can move, but do nothing else; the weapon fires at the end of that process, consuming the device/buff and damaging the shuttle. I am not sure, from a game-balance viewpoint, how many missiles it should take to down a shuttle... but the other players on the team would obviously have to cover the missile operator on top of everything else - and said operator would, logically, become a priority target while acquiring.
Basically the Boolean Assault Cannon is a modified shuttle/fighter gun. And Khan did in fact use it in STID to shoot down two Klingon Bird of Prey's.
In other words its doing exactly what its supposed to do.
Also, Kelvin universe. Blech.
I'd like to counter that counter and say that, while the technology involved may have been from a few centuries prior, it was technology from a timeline that had been contaminated by the advanced 24th century Borg technology of the Narada. STO considers Kelvin Timeline technology to be on par with contemporary early 25th century technology.
On which of the three difficulty settings have you played that map?
I have yet to see a team get far in elite not to mention beat it. If you are so strong would you mind sharing you build and perhaps even lead me through an elite run of beach assault?
I would really like that.

Unfortunately this is not a five-player map. I suppose some expert at cryptic decided after the huge success of the competitive PvE that 5,5 so 10 players are the way to go to make sure this map does not survive the season it was released in.
It is really sad but given the terrible effort/reward ratio the map provides no biggie in the barren queue list.

Well you do have to understand that the devs have to cater to the lazy, ignorant, and greedy players out there so they have to design the game so it's easy for an experienced player too pretty much solo the mission.
Can you imagine if every mission required 100% focus out of every player,
The game would go down in flames, because everyone would complain (And by everyone, I'm talking about the greedy the lazy and the ignorant.) and would say that game is too hard, that it is impossible to win.
It doesn't matter, no matter how many times Cryptic spells out the mission objectives before every mission there are going to be a great number of players that have it in their heads that every mission is just a pew pew only mission and are completely ignorant to the fact that they have to do something else other than pew pew.
For those that doubt what I've just said, try running Khitomer ground mission (Advanced) and when you get to the final room and all of the Borg are dead you'll be amazed how many players think that the game is broken because nothing else is happening.

No it wasn’t elite. I tried it twice and they killed the stations in less than a minute.
